Laboratory planning includes two aspects: one is laboratory building planning, the other is laboratory process planning. Laboratory building planning includes building appearance, style, height, park layout, etc; Before the construction of the laboratory, the process of investigating the needs of the laboratory is actually the process of determining the 3-5-year plan of the whole laboratory. Therefore, a lot of preliminary research work needs to be carried out. It is necessary not only to clarify its own needs and future development direction, but also to extensively investigate the laboratories that have been built by relevant units and learn their experiences and lessons.
2. Laboratory design should be prior to civil engineering design.
"Construction" should precede "construction". Only when "construction" is clear can "construction" begin. It is the process of realizing the abstract idea with professional means, including laboratory design, installation, debugging, maintenance and upgrading.
At present, there is no relevant building code for the construction of laboratories in China, so many laboratories do not fully consider the special requirements of laboratories for buildings in the civil engineering design stage. The correct laboratory construction process is to design the laboratory process first, and then carry out the laboratory civil design on the premise of meeting the laboratory process requirements. This requires the construction unit to consult the professional experimental designer and timely intervene in the civil engineering design stage of the project. If possible, take the civil engineering designer to visit the laboratories of other units to deepen their understanding.
